Singer Chris Brown is reportedly planning to cancel some of his future nightclub shows after five people were shot during his recent performance in San Jose.
 
According to a source, the 25-year-old held an emergency meeting after the incident and ordered his manager to cancel his upcoming appearances at clubs with a history of violence or security issues, reports tmz.com. 
 
The source added that Brown made the decision because he doesn't want to be associated with shootings and wants to protect his image, himself and his fans. 
 
The San Jose incident took place Jan 11 morning at the Fiesta club. Brown was performing when gunshots were suddenly fired.
