Celine Dion's Teenage Son Hosts Poker Parties At Home

IANS, 27 May, 2016 01:15 PM
Singer Celine Dion's 15-year-old son hosts poker parties and sleepovers at home.

The 48-year-old star loves it when her eldest son René-Charles has his friends over to stay at their house because he wasn't able to make many friends during his younger years because the family was moving around to different areas so often.

"In the old days, we would move constantly. René-Charles barely had the chance to make friends at school before we changed places again,” the Paris Match magazine quoted Dion as saying, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"Today, thanks to sport, mainly golf and hockey, he has lots of friends. Some of them are even invited to the house for sleep-overs, poker parties or video games. I like to have a bunch of teenagers in the kitchen making crepes. He's 15 years old, I don't handcuff him. He's young, he must live," she added.

While Dion is unsure what career path Charles is going to head down to, but shared that her son loves to cook and has developed a penchant for smoking meat.

"He adores cooking and watches a lot of programmes about it. We bought him an outdoor oven for smoking meat. He'll choose his piece and ask for the chef's advice,” the “My heart will go on” hitmaker said.
