Celine Dion Breaks Down As She Mourns Late Husband

Darpan News Desk IANS, 22 Jan, 2016 11:01 AM
Singer Celine Dion broke down at the public visitation of her late husband and manager Rene Angelil at the Notre-Dame Basilica here on Thursday.

Angelil died after battling throat cancer on January 14. He was 73.

The "All by myself" singer was joined by hundreds of fans and family to mourn Angelil at the visitation, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Dion was dressed appropriately in a black coat over a black dress with a pair of black pump shoes and leather gloves. Though she covered her face with a veil, it could be clearly seen that she was still grieving.

She was also seen crying and wiping the tears with a white handkerchief.

Dion was accompanied by Angelil's sons Patrick and Jean-Pierre, standing next to her late husband's open casket. Also attending the service were Dion's mother Therese, her eldest son Rene-Charles and Rene's brother Andre.

Dion's brother also died of cancer two days after her husband's death, announced on Facebook that Angelil's funeral would be held on Friday at the same venue and would be live streamed around the world.
