Calvin Harris Breaks Silence On Split With Taylor Swift

Darpan News Desk IANS, 03 Jun, 2016 11:17 AM
  • Calvin Harris Breaks Silence On Split With Taylor Swift
Scottish DJ Calvin Harris has broken his silence on his split from singer Taylor Swift, saying that the former couple still has "love and respect" for each other.

Following reports that the couple's 15-month relationship ended because he was "jealous" of Swift's success, Harris took to Twitter to clear the air, reports dailymail.co.uk.

"The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end and what remains is a huge amount of love and respect," Harris wrote.

While initial reports cited an amicable split without "drama", it was later claimed that Harris just couldn't handle the singer's superstar status.

Earlier in March this year, they celebrated their one-year anniversary with a cake, a custom locket and plenty of fawning over each other on social media.

Shortly after their anniversary, Swift and Harris marked the occasion with a romantic tropical vacation together, where they posed for each other's Instagram photographs and wrote their names in the sand.
