Reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner fears being sent to a men's jail due to her involvement in a deadly car accident in February.
Talking about the incident for the first time, Caitlyn -- who was Bruce Jenner back then and hadn't undergone gender transition -- said she wasn't speeding when the accident happened.
She had so far not commented on the matter due to the ongoing litigation, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"A tragedy like this, you'll never get over it. You just learn to live with it the best you possibly can," she told TV show "Today" host Matt Lauer.
Addressing the possibility of landing behind bars and in a reference to her potential mugshot, Caitlyn said: "The media wants that picture, don't they?"
Her biggest fear, however, is going to a men's jail.
"That is the worst case scenario. I don't know. We'll see... The Men's County Jail... It is an enormous problem that they would put trans-women in Men's County Jail,” she said.
But the "I Am Cait" star doesn't regret undergoing the transition.
"There's nothing more, nothing better in life to wake up in the morning, look at yourself in the mirror and feel comfortable with yourself and who you are," she added.
