  • Britney Spears's beau credits his past for their love

Britney Spears's boyfriend Charlie Ebersol has credited his personal hurdles early on in life for helping him to be in a relationship with someone as loving as the pop singer.

“My personal life is my personal life, but I will say this: If I had not gone through what I've gone through, I would not have been prepared to be in a relationship of any kind, much less in one with someone like Britney, who has the enormous heart that she does,” people.com quoted the 31-year-old as saying.

The duo's romance started just over two months after Spears broke up with her then boyfriend David Lucado.
