Beyonce's four-year-old half-brother almost homeless

Darpan News Desk IANS, 04 Apr, 2014 11:26 AM
  • Beyonce's four-year-old half-brother almost homeless
The mother of Beyonce Knowles' four-year-old half-brother has opened up about her financial problems and says that that the R&B superstar would be horrified to learn her sibling is facing a life on the streets.

Alexsandra Wright, the former girlfriend of the singer's father, Mathew Knowles, has told In Touch magazine that she's considering moving into a homeless shelter with her son Nixon, reports contactmusic.com.

She claims that she cannot afford a home now that her ex's child support payments have been retroactively reduced from $12,000 to $2,400 a month, and doesn't have to hand over a single dime for almost two years.

But Wright thinks that could all change if Beyonce really knew about her plight - and met her half-brother.

"Nixon deserves to know his family, and I hope one day he will meet his sister Beyonce... I can't imagine how Beyonce feels knowing she has a homeless brother. I know if I were in the same position, I would reach out. Maybe she is too busy,” she told the publication.
