Actor Ben Stiller's mother Anne Meara has passed away. She was 85.
The actress-comedienne, married to actor Jerry Stiller, passed away on Saturday, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"The Stiller family is deeply saddened to share that the beloved Anne Meara passed away last night at the age of 85."
"She is survived by her husband and partner in life Jerry Stiller. The two were married for 61 years and worked together almost as long. Anne's memory lives on in the hearts of daughter Amy, son Ben, her grandchildren, her extended family and friends, and the millions she entertained as an actress, writer and comedienne," the family announced.
Anne and Jerry were known as comedy duo Stiller and Meara. She had recurring roles on "Sex and the City" and "The King of Queens", where her husband was a regular.
She also appeared in some of the movies starring her son, like "Zoolander" and "Night at the Museum". She was an Emmy nominee and Writers Guild Award winner.
