Ben Affleck, who is the latest actor to play Batman, sought advice on the role from actors George Clooney and Christian Bale.
In an interview alongside his "Batman v Superman" co-star Henry Cavill, Affleck told Good Morning America's Jesse Palmer that Clooney and Bale, who also played the caped crusader in the past, had offered their guidance, reports people.com.
"I talked to Clooney and he gave me some advice which is not repeatable," Affleck joked.
"And I talked to Christian, who just told me to make sure I got a zipper in the suit, which was valuable, practice advice as it turned out."
Clooney starred in "Batman & Robin" (1997), and Bale portrayed as Batman in the Christopher Nolan's acclaimed "Dark Knight Trilogy: Batman Begins" (2005), "The Dark Knight" (2008), and "The Dark Knight Rises" (2012).
Affleck also dished on the year long workout regimen he undertook to get into crime fighting shape, which he admits was spurred on by a little healthy competition with Cavill.
"I saw the first movie that he was in ('Man of Steel') and I was kind of like, 'Wow, well I don’t know if I'm going to be able to be quite in that good of shape,'" he joked.
