'Bajirao Mastani' Trailer To Release With Salman Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'

IANS, 14 Jul, 2015 11:33 AM
The official trailer of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming historical romance film "Bajirao Mastani", starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra will release alongside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" on Friday.

"Bajirao Mastani", which reunites Bhansali with his "Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela" actors Ranveer and Deepika, will clash with Bollywood's iconic onscreen couple Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol-starrer "Dilwale" at the box office on December 18, say trade experts.

"#BajiraoMastani trailer is attached to #BajrangiBhaijaan. And, yes, it's releasing on 18 Dec 2015. Clashing with #Dilwale," trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted on Twitter.

Excited about the months before release of the trailer, Priyanka, who turns 33 on Saturday, took to the micro-blogging site to share the news.

"So exciting! Best present ever! #BajiraoMastani trailer releasing on my bday weekend!!! Yay! Can't wait to share with you all! Thank u SLB," she wrote.

The trailer of the film will be released on digital platform on Wednesday ahead of its theatrical release alongside Kabir Khan's directorial "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" on July 17.

"Bajirao Mastani" is based on the love story between 18th century Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao I (Ranveer Singh) and his second wife Mastani (Deepika). Priyanka plays Kashibai, the first wife of Peshwa Bajirao.
