Antonio Banderas back to school!

Darpan News Desk IANS, 28 Aug, 2015 12:20 PM
Actor Antonio Banderas has enrolled at a fashion school here to master the craft.

"The Skin I Live In" shared a photograph from his class on micro-blogging website Twitter and photo-sharing webite Instagram, reports aceshowbiz.com.

"The 2nd week of studies at Central St Martin begins. Intense, exciting, serious and fun all the same time," he wrote.

A spokeswoman for the school told fashion industry trade magazine WWD: "(Banderas is) starting from scratch and learning the basics of bespoke tailoring."

"It's something that has been on my mind for a long time," Banderas said on TV talk show "Loose Women".

"(Central St. Martins) is probably one of the best schools in the world ... and so I am going to start studying with them ... I need knowledge to take steps in that territory.

"It makes me feel actually very young to put the elbows on the table again and try to understand another reality. Of course, I won't stop my professional life, I'll continue acting, directing - but this is a new thing," he added.
