Actress Angelina Jolie says her humanitarian works has furthered her interest in politics.
 
The Oscar-winning actress talked about her interest in politics in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
 
"When you work as a humanitarian, you are conscious that politics have to be considered. Because if you really want to make an extreme change, then you have a responsibility,” she said.
 
Asked about pursuing a career in politics, the United Nations Goodwill Ambassador said: "I am open."
 
However, the 38-year-old actress believes her acting career may hinder her aspirations.
 
"But I honestly don't know in what role I would be more useful - I am conscious of what I do for a living, and that (could) make it less possible," she added.
