Angelina Jolie interested in politics

Darpan News Desk Darpan, 05 Nov, 2014 02:57 PM
  • Angelina Jolie interested in politics
Actress Angelina Jolie says her humanitarian works has furthered her interest in politics.

The Oscar-winning actress talked about her interest in politics in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"When you work as a humanitarian, you are conscious that politics have to be considered. Because if you really want to make an extreme change, then you have a responsibility,” she said.

Asked about pursuing a career in politics, the United Nations Goodwill Ambassador said: "I am open."

However, the 38-year-old actress believes her acting career may hinder her aspirations.

"But I honestly don't know in what role I would be more useful - I am conscious of what I do for a living, and that (could) make it less possible," she added.
