Andie Macdowell Has Advice For Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner

Darpan News Desk IANS, 12 Jul, 2015 02:26 PM
Hollywood stars Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are still in the early stages of divorcing, but actress Andie Macdowell knows what's in store for the high-profile couple.

"It's really hard," Macdowell, who has been divorced twice, told people.com of ending a marriage.

"It's not an easy transition. I think that the sooner you can let go of any anger, the better off you are. I think anger really kills you, it's a really negative energy, it doesn't hurt anybody but yourself, it eats you up," added the 57-year-old.

Affleck and Garner announced they were splitting just one day after their 10th wedding anniversary in June.

The pair, who have three children - Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3 - will continue living together for the sake of their family.

"As fast as you can, resolve your own personal anger, and find your own peace of mind," MacDowell advises the couple. "There is life after divorce."
