Amy Winehouse Documentary To Release In India On July 10

    "Amy", the 90-minute British documentary based on late English singer and songwriter Amy Winehouse is scheduled to release in India on July 10.
     
    The biopic, directed by BAFTA Award winner Asif Kapadia is an eye-opener, which features previously unseen archive footage that seeks to tell the tragic story of Winehouse.
     
    The documentary captures every emotion of Winehouse, who died by accidental alcohol poisoning in 2011. She was 27.
     
    A five-time Grammy Award winner, Winehouse was known for her deep vocals and eclectic mix of musical genres, including soul, rhythm and blues, jazz and reggae.
     
    Releasing under the PVR Director’s Rare banner in the country, “Amy” will be distributed by PVR Pictures.
