  • Adele Gets Emotional As 'Hello' Debuts On Radio
Grammy award winning singer Adele got emotional as her comeback single "Hello" debuted on the radio on Friday morning.

The 27-year-old star appeared on the BBC Radio 1 "Breakfast Show" to promote the new release and said she felt "sick" and anxious about the first airing of the track, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Speaking shortly before the song was played, she said: "I obviously want people to like it. When I wrote it I knew this would be the first thing everyone heard from me."

The "Rolling in the deep" singer was terrified no-one would like the 30-second teaser of her new single, which was released over the weekend ahead of the official release.

"I thought no-one's going to know it's me. It'll backfire. When I looked there were three tweets. I thought I'd missed my window. But then my boyfriend told me there were loads."
