Actress Zareen Khan will miss the 17th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) award as her mother Praveen Khan is unwell.
"Zareen had her visa in place but she decided to give the IIFA a miss and take care of her mother," said a source close to the actress.
The source said her mother underwent a heart surgery recently and so Zareen has been taking special care of her. Zareen has been hands on with her mother's doctors, her diet and medication.
