YouTube stars like members of All India Bakchod (AIB) gang, Kanan Gill, Shirley Setia, Kaushal and SANAM on Tuesday shared their fundas to get on the road to success in the virtual world.
Taking time out from the preparation of the third edition of YouTube Fanfest, which is slated to be held in Mumbai on March 18, the group headed to the national capital to share their experience with hundreds of aspiring video creators at YouTube creator academy at Mehrauli here and even met their fans.
Joining them for the first time in India was the popular beauty vlogger Kaushal from Britain, who has a channel with over a million subscribers globally. It was the first time that such a YouTube fest activity was held in the capital, read a statement.
Satya Raghavan, head of YouTube Online Partnerships and Development, India said: “We’re delighted to be in Delhi to tap the energy and creativity of the passionate YouTubers and inspire the creators who need a little nudge to break free onto a global platform."
Raghavan also shared that “as part of YouTube Fanfest, we are doing a series of creator academies where we bring aspiring creators and fans face to face with their favourite YouTube Stars to grow the community.”
For the main event, the line-up features over 35 popular YouTube stars from around the world, including Indo-Canadian online personality Lilly Singh, also known by her YouTube username IISuperwomanII.
It will be held at Dome @ NSCI, SVP Stadium in Mumbai.
