Yesteryear star Dharmendra is going to celebrate his 79th birthday Monday away from his star wife Hema Malini as he is busy shooting in Punjab.
 
“Good morning! Dharamji's bday today (Monday) & my thoughts are all with him as he is shooting in Punjab I am travelling to Delhi to attend Parl today (Monday),” Hema Malini, his wife, tweeted.
 
“I must thank all his numerous fans from all over the world who have been sendg best wishes for their hero's bday to both of us. Thank u all,” added the actress and politician.
 
In his over five decade-long movie career, Dharmendra has worked with his wife in hits like “Seeta Aur Geeta”, “Sholay” and “Dream Girl”. 
 
In the last few years, he was appreciated for his acts in movies such as “Yamla Pagla Deewana” and “Apne", which also starred his sons Sunny and Bobby Deol.
