Actor Saqib Saleem, whose sibling Huma Qureshi is making inroads into southern cinema with Malayalam film "White", says he will not venture into regional cinema for the sake of money.
 
At the same time, he is sure about trying his hand at diverse films.
 
Asked if he would like to do regional films, Saqib told IANS: "If I get into it, then I want to learn the language and act. I don't want some other actor to dub my voice then you are not acting."
 
He shared that his sister Huma learnt a bit of Malayalam for a month for "White".
 
"I will not work in regional films for the sake of money. I want to enjoy the whole process and if I don't enjoy the lines, then what's the point," questioned the "Mere Dad Ki Maruti" actor.
 
Saqib also said he is proud of Huma's body of work.
 
"Huma is doing 'White', she is also doing a Hollywood film. she is doing really great as an actor. I am very proud of her," he added.
 
"White" features Huma with southern superstar Mammootty.
 
Meanwhile, Saqib said he has been getting interesting scripts these days.
 
"An actor chooses from what comes to him. So, whatever has been coming my way, has been interesting. I think my job as an actor is to come out and do something different and surprise the audience," said the actor who has recently starred in a short film for Y-Films.
