Will Surprise Audience With 'Jamai Raja': Sumona Chakravarti

    Sumona Chakravarti, who is currently playing Mrs. Sharma in "Comedy Nights with Kapil", is now geared up for another TV show - "Jamai Raja". The actress says that her role in the series will have many layers.
     
    The actress will portray the character named Misha Grewal in the TV show.
     
    “There are so many layers to my character Misha which will surprise audiences and always keep them guessing as to what will happen next,” Sumona told IANS.
     
    Sumona will be be seen in a daily show after a long time and while explaining her character in the show, Sumona informed that "Misha's role is that of an old friend of the character Siddharth which is played by Ravi Dubey."
     
    "Portraying a person who is full of life, “My entry happens at a crucial juncture in the story and adds an interesting twist & intrigue to the love story between Siddhartha & Roshni.
     
    "As an actor I am always looking to enact a variety of characters and I fell in love with Misha’s character in one of the most widely followed shows on television currently, I accepted the offer immediately,” Sumona added.
     
    Sumona was last seen in an episode in “Savdhaan India-India Fights Back” and has also worked in films like “Barfi” and “Kick”.
     
    Jamai Raja is a daily soap which is aired on television channel Zee Tv. The plot of the show revolves around the differences between family members.
