Will Do TV Only For Money: R. Madhavan

Darpan News Desk IANS, 28 Jan, 2016 01:52 PM
Actor R. Madhavan, whose performance in the 1990s TV shows “Sea Hawks” and "Banegi Apni Baat" were highly appreciated, says he will only consider doing another show on the small screen now if the money is good.

“I can think of doing TV shows if the money is good. A film star is a film star, and you can't take that away. Hence, I don’t think about money when I do films, but I will do it for TV like the way I do it for endorsements,” Madhavan told IANS here.

The actor has also hosted reality shows like “Tol Mol Ke Bol” and “Deal Ya No Deal” in the past. But he has grown to be one of the most loved actors down south and in Bollywood.

Known for his roles in films like “Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein”, ”Rang De Basanti”, "Tanu Weds Manu”, “3 Idiots,” and the very recent “Tanu Weds Manu Returns”, he will be next seen playing a role of strict coach in “Saala Khadoos”.

The sports-based film, produced by Rajkumar Hirani, also features newcomer Ritika Singh and will be released on Friday.
