  • Will Definitely Make A Marathi Film: Salman Khan
After lending production support to films like "Chillar Party" and "Dr. Cabbie", actor Salman Khan is venturing into full-fledged production with "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Hero". He also hopes to produce a Marathi film in the future.

Asked if he has any plans of making a Marathi film, Salman said here: "Of course, I'll make (Marathi film), why not? If I get a good plot and good subject."

Salman was present at the trailer launch of actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar and his son Satya's film "Janiva". He quipped: "If Mahesh Manjrekar is ready to direct it, Satya is ready to act and if Salman Khan plays a guest appearance. (I'll make the film)."

Director of acclaimed films like "Vaastav" and "Astitva", Manjrekar said: "One film I want to do with him (Salman is) where he does a Marathi film in a proper nice role. He'll do it definitely (the film)."

Previously, Salman had played a cameo in his friend Riteish Deshmukh's Marathi film "Lai Bhaari".

"Janiva", directed by Rajesh Ranshinge, is gearing up for release on July 31.
