Why Lauren Gottlieb calls dance 'nerve-wracking'

Darpan News Desk IANS, 26 Aug, 2015 12:06 PM
Dancer-actress Lauren Gottlieb, who has shown her dancing prowess in the "ABCD" franchise, says showing her moves on the fashion runway was "nerve-wracking".

The actress, who walked as the showstopper for the brand Baggit at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week winter-festive 2015, showed some moves while taking a walk on the runway.

When IANS asked her about the experience, she said: “It is nerve wracking because I don't think its customary to dance on the runway. I tried new things like the way I try on dance floor. It's a great way to show people that its cool, its relatable.”

Baggit showcased the second edition of “Play the Life Game” campaign through the show that celebrated the different roles and moods women have in their lives.

The campaign highlighted the special autumn/winter 2015 collection of bags to complement the multi-faceted woman.

Lauren, who gave hit item numbers in films like “Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!”, “Welcome To Karachi” and is going to be part of upcoming film “Welcome Back”, says that personal style statement is a mix of branded and non-branded products.

“I prefer keeping it mix whether it is high end brand or medium level brand. You can have great suits with cost friendly top, that's what my style is. I love brands,” she said adding that fashion for her is something that “depicts my mood for the day and I think its nice.”

The five-day fashion extravaganza started here on Wednesday and will conclude on Sunday at the Palladium Hotel.
