Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who is geared up to stun the audience with her action-packed avtar for the upcoming film "Akira", got injured while shooting an action scene for the movie.

Sonakshi shared a throwback photograph of herself, where she is seen with a bruised arm.

"Battlescars are meant to be worn with pride! A memento from when I was shooting an action scene for 'Akira'! (Throwback)," Sonakshi tweeted on Wednesday.

The film is directed by A.R. Murugadoss, who had previously directed Sonakshi in the film "Holiday", which was a success at the box office.
