Wedding Bells? But Shoaib Hasn't Proposed Yet, Says Dipika Kakar

IANS, 06 Sep, 2016 01:23 PM
Fans might be waiting for TV stars Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim to marry soon but the actress says they don't have a date as her beau is yet to formally propose to her.

The couple made their relationship public earlier this year and the 30-year-old actress says she is happy that they have finally admitted their feelings for each other but is clueless about Shoaib's proposal.

"No, the proposal has still not happened. We know that people must be curious but I don't have any idea of when he is going to propose me. I have to warn him for that," Dipika told.

While Dipika continues to be part of Sasural Simar Ka, which made her a household name, Shoaib, 29, quit the show in 2013 after working for two years. The pair's on screen chemistry was loved by the fans.

The actress, who earlier revealed she fell for Shoaib after he left the drama, says she is not sure how will they work together now as they are a real-life couple and things have changed between them.

"I'm not sure if Shoaib and I would be able to do a scene together in the present time because we just can't stop laughing whenever we are together. Even when we make videos or dubsmash we are just not able to control our laughter. But I would love to share the screen with him again," she said.
