'Wazir' mints Rs.21.01 crore in opening weekend

  • 'Wazir' mints Rs.21.01 crore in opening weekend
Director Bejoy Nambiar's drama thriller "Wazir", starring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar, has collected over Rs.20 crore in its opening week.
 
The movie released on Friday and made Rs.5.61 crore on its opening day. It witnessed a good growth on Saturday and Sunday.
 
"Wazir" collected Rs.7.16 crore on Saturday and Rs.8.24 crore on Sunday, making its domestic weekend collection to a cumulative of Rs.21.01 crore, read a statement.
 
The movie, co-produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani, also features Neil Nitin Mukesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and John Abraham.
