For the Independence Day celebrations of India and Pakistan, online food delivery marketplace Foodpanda has launched a video which captures the universal love for food in both the countries.
 
"It plays on the universal love for food that transcends boundaries and acts as a common thread between Indians and Pakistanis. 
 
With a lilting background track, the video captures how delicacies from Indian cities are well-loved in Pakistan and vice versa," read a statement.
 
 
"Iss Swatantrata Diwas, Bhed Bhao Mitao… Bas Khaatey Jao, Khilatey Jao" (This Independence Day, forget the differences and instead, eat and feed) is the message that the video spreads.
 
Available on YouTube, the video showcases how the tastes, desires, preferences of citizens in India and Pakistan are alike.
 
 
A description of the video reads: "This is our tribute to independence: Independence of thought, harmony and peace. Independence of togetherness! #HumHainEk".
