If Canadian PM Justin Trudeau and his family's visit to Amritsar, Punjab, has gotten you all agog with excitement and attention, then wait till you hear this. Celebrity chef Vikas Khanna just taught the Trudeaus how to make rotis during their visit to the Golden Temple!
The Michelin-starred chef, who was born and brought up in Amritsar--where most of his family, including his mother, still lives--has always underlined his affection for the Guru ka Langar at Sri Harmandir Sahib gurudwara, which is popularly known as the Golden Temple.
For those who don't know, kar seva signifies charitable acts that most devotees do for the public for free. It's here that Khanna met with the Trudeaus, and taught them how to make rotis. Justin and Sophie Trudeau were seen making rotis with a rolling pin, while their kids, Xavier James and Ella-Grace helped them.
Khanna then posted a picture of himself with the Trudeaus on Twitter. "Teaching the beloved Trudeau family to roll Breads at The Holy Golden Temple. The same place where I learnt to cook," he wrote.
