Was Intimidating To Work With Aamir, Sakshi: Fatima Sana Shaikh

  • Was Intimidating To Work With Aamir, Sakshi: Fatima Sana Shaikh
Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh says it was intimidating to work with senior actors like Aamir Khan and Sakshi Tanwar in "Dangal".

"I am scared to face the cameras. As a child artist, I don't remember much. I am coming in front of the camera after a very long time and it was intimidating to work with Sakshi and Aamir sir as they are such great actors. I was quite scared," Fatima said here.

As a child actor, Fatima had featured in "Chachi 420".

In "Dangal", she will be seen essaying the role of wrestling champion gold medallist Geeta Phogat.

Fatima says that after "Chachi 420", she lost interest in acting. However, after a while, she felt like pursuing it.

"When I was a kid, I didn't know how I got into acting. When I was growing up, I thought I was getting bored of acting, so I left that. Then after a few years, I started missing it. I left my studies mid-way and I used to give lots of auditions.

"It has been quite a struggle so far, but it has also been a learning experience."

"Dangal" is an Indian biographical sports drama film directed by "Chillar Party" and "Bhootnath Returns" fame Nitesh Tiwari.

The film sees Aamir portraying the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. "Dangal" is scheduled to release on December 23.
