Want Daughter To Focus On Education For Now: Sridevi

IANS, 23 Sep, 2015 11:21 AM
Actress Sridevi has refuted rumours about her daughter Jhanvi Kapoor's cinematic debut with Malayalam heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan, and added that she wants Jhanvi to focus on education for now.

The rumoured project was to be directed by K.V. Vijayendra Prasad, the writer behind "Baahubali" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".

"She (Jhanvi) has just completed graduation. Her focus should be on education now. Contrary to reports, she hasn't signed any film yet. She's young and it's too early for her to think about acting," Sridevi told IANS.

She also added that destiny will decide the course of her daughter's career.

"If it has to happen, she will enter films. I never planned to be an actress," she said.

Sridevi is looking forward to the release of her comeback Tamil film "Puli", which releases worldwide on October 1 in Hindi as well as Telugu.
