Viral Sensation Sanjeev Shrivastava Aka 'Dancing Uncle' Just Got To Perform With His Idol Govinda

    Sanjeev Shrivastava aka Dancing Uncle is going places after his dance video went viral. After becoming popular on social media, Sanjeev descended on Madhuri Dixit's show Dance Deewane, where his dream of meeting Govinda came true.

     

    Sanjeev was extremely thrilled to meet Govinda on the sets of the show, which gives a platform to everyone who loves to dance, irrespective of the age group.

     

    Reacting on Sanjeev's video, Govinda told, "More than half a dozen heroes have copied my steps, and nobody has done it so well!"

     

    Sanjeev Shrivastava was emotional after knowing about Govinda's reaction to his dance videos. He said, "It’s my fortune that Govinda ji saw my video and said such precious words. I don’t think I want anything else after hearing this."

     

    The episode will also see Madhuri Dixit and Govinda match steps.

    The professor from Madhya Pradesh, along with his family, met the Bollywood superstar on the sets of the latter’s television show Dus Ka Dum. Sanjeev shared several photos from the rendezvous on Twitter.     The dance sensation from Vidisha rose to fame after his video went viral and people went ga-ga over his dance moves. The 46-year-old is an assistant professor of Electronics in Bhabha Engineering Research Institute and was recently made the brand ambassador of Vidisha Municipal Corporation.

     

    Sanjeev Shrivastava’s love for dance not only got him his newfound stardom but he also found favour with Arjun Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza and Divya Dutta among others. Sharing his excitement, Sanjeev had told indianexpress.com, “I feel as if God or angel came into my bedroom one night and moved their magic wand over me. And when I woke up the next day, the world became completely new.”
