Vicky Kaushal Reacts To Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar Controversy

  • Vicky Kaushal Reacts To Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar Controversy
Actor Vicky Kaushal has said his upcoming Uri: The Surgrical Strike has been his career's most demanding film.  The movie, featuring the 30-year-old actor in the lead, is based on 2016 surgical strikes carried out by Indian Special Forces.

"Uri has been the most physically demanding film of my career. I'm very excited for the trailer to be out and to see how people react to the film," Vicky told reporters. "Real heroes are the army officers, we are just portraying them and doing that itself is a challenge. They are actually living these lives. Hats off to them. It's not easy what they are doing," he added.

The actor was speaking on the sidelines of ELLE beauty awards, Saturday.  At the red carpet, the Manmarziyaan star was also asked Tanushree Dutta's allegations that Nana Patekar harassed her ten years ago on a film set.

"Harassment and misconduct at workplace or anywhere else is not right. When someone comes out and speaks about something which has happened with them, the least we can do is listen to them because it's not easy to speak about it in front of the whole world," he replied.

"So listen to them. At the same point it's important to listen to the accused. Whenever something of such gravity comes out it should he properly investigated," he added.
