Vicky Kaushal Confirms His Love For Harleen Sethi, Sings A Rap Love Song For Her

IANS, 21 Nov, 2018 12:26 PM
Actor Vicky Kaushal says he got screwed early in his life, when he swallowed a nail.

The actor recalled the incident when he became part of "No Filter Neha", read a statement.

"I've got screwed in life quite early on. I was a kid, I was in school. I was in Punjab for my summer vacations. It was my mom, me and my younger brother. And there, the electricity used to go very often. It was evening and I still remember, it was a Saturday. I was actually playing with a screw, it was just there," Vicky said.

"It was a nail. I was playing with it, trying to lick it and taste the metal. All of this is happening in the dark. I was just playing with myself, nail, screw. I just gulped the screw down. And everyone's happy that electricity was back and I'm like mom, I ate a screw.

"She slapped me. And I was just sitting there feeling normal. They took me to the doctor, who gave two options -- one surgery and second to let it pass naturally. "

Kaushal, who was last seen in Anurag Kashyap directorial Manmarziyaan along with Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan, shares a special bond with the filmmaker. Their association dates back to the days when Vicky’s father and action director Sham Kaushal worked with Kashyap in films like Black Friday and Gulaal.

So, when Neha asked the 30-year-old actor three bad things about his mentor-turned-friend Anurag Kashyap, Vicky Kaushal said, “Firstly, I would say that he is too impulsive, which sometimes gets him in the wrong spot. He just ends up hurting himself. Secondly, I would say that because of that impulsive reaction, he sometimes forms judgments about people and situations which are not necessarily true. Third, as a friend, I would say ‘yaar thodi drinking kam kar do’ (please quit drinking).”

Further, in the conversation, Vicky revealed about his fear of watching horror stories. He narrated the story of how he had to watch Andaz Apna Apna to erase the memories of The Conjuring.

The actor said, “I can’t watch horror films. I am the biggest fattu. I have watched The Conjuring with a group of friends and I was so fattaoed (scared) after that. My friends had gone off to sleep. I had to watch Andaz Apna Apna right after it to erase all the memories of The Conjuring. I watched Andaz Apna Apna and that’s when I felt normal and that’s when I could go to sleep.”

Reluctantly though but Vicky Kaushal also admitted to being in love during the podcast. When the host of the show Neha asked Vicky to dedicate a song to Harleen Sethi, lead actor of upcoming web series Broken But Beautiful, the Masaan actor crooned Diljit Dosanjh’s hit number, “Do you know main tenu kinna pyar karda”.

Later, in another segment where the actor had to tell which person will he swipe left (reject), right (date) or up (super like) on Tinder, he chose to swipe up many times for Harleen.
