Vicious Trolling Welcomes Anup Jalota, Girlfriend Jasleen Matharu Into 'Bigg Boss House'

  • Vicious Trolling Welcomes Anup Jalota, Girlfriend Jasleen Matharu Into 'Bigg Boss House'

Entry of ghazal and bhajan legend Anup Jalota and his girlfriend into ‘Bigg Boss Season 12’ let loose the troll brigade on social media.

The 65-year-old Jalota and his 28-year-old girlfriend Jasleen Matharu were welcomed into the show as a “vichitra jodi” or “stand out pair” in a season’s first episode that aired on Sunday. The reaction on Twitter however was not as welcoming.

The pair was the subject of vicious trolling on the micro-blogging site—almost all jokes and memes aimed primarily at their age difference. Some jokes even compared the couple to another celebrity couple that has been the talk of the town lately—actress Priyanka Chopra and her singer-songwriter fiancé Nick Jonas.

"In the beginning, I was very stubborn and always wanted to be just an actor. I was told by a lot of people to try my hand at writing or directing, but I always thought I am an actor and this is what I want to do. But today, I feel all these roles are so interlinked.
