Actor Varun Dhawan turned 27 Thursday and the “Main Tera Hero” star fulfilled his civic duty by voting before getting busy with his birthday celebrations.
 
After getting inked, he posted his photograph on Twitter and urged his followers to do the same. 
 
“I just voted. Have you? Be serious, get off your a** and go vote,” he tweeted.
 
Filmmaker Karan Johar, who gave the young actor a break in the acting industry, shared Varun’s swimwear shot on Twitter and wished him: “Happy birthday Varun.”
 
Meanwhile, Varun’s “Main Tera Hero” co-star Nargis Fakhri used the microblogging site to shower him with hug and kisse.
 
“Happy birthday. May god bless you now and forever! Sending a big birthday hug and kiss to you all the way from Budapest! Love you kid,” she posted.
 
Actress Bipasha Basu also wished the “hero”.
 
“Happy birthday Varun. Enjoy hero! Hugs,” she posted on Twitter.
