  • Varun Dhawan Goes Gaga Over 'Fun-in-Sand' Movie 'Baywatch'

Although Priyanka Chopra's debut Hollywood movie 'Baywatch' did not fare well at the American box-office, but she is getting appreciated for her role of the antagonist, Victoria Leeds.

But the actress has surely made a fan out of a Bollywood actor, who could not stop praising the movie and it is none other than Varun Dhawan.

The 30-year-old-actor, who attended the Mumbai screening of the movie, shared his views on Twitter.

He wrote, "#baywatch is fun in the sand. @TheRock brings the humour like only he can and @priyankachopra is badass. I laughed throughout."

The film's lead actor and Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson was quick to reply and tweeted, "Thank you brotha! Me and @priyankachopra talked about how much you (and India) will enjoy the movie. Fun is the key word. #Baywatch."

To which Varun tweeted back, "Definitely India is gonna have great time watching #Baywatch." Even, the 'Bajirao Mastani' star was overwhelmed by the 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' star's tweet.

Replying to Varun's tweet, she wrote, "Thank you @Varun_dvn I'm so glad u felt that way! Our fun mad action comedy releasing around the world #1dayforBaywatch @TheRock."

It should be noted that, the movie has fared very poorly with critics, currently standing at a 19% rating on Rotten Tomatoes amidst judgements that the film is "shallow" and "misguided."

Chopra stars alongside Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, and Alexandra Daddario in the big-screen remake of the popular '90s television series, where lifeguards attempt to uncover a criminal plot that threatens all that is good and pure in the world of beach life.

The flick is scheduled to hit the theatres on June 2 in India.
