Upset That 'Dishoom' Is Banned In Pakistan: Varun Dhawan

Darpan News Desk, 30 Jul, 2016 12:35 PM
Director Rohit Dhawan's latest film "Dishoom" has been banned in Pakistan, and its actor Varun Dhawan is upset as he believes the Bollywood movie doesn't show any country in a bad light.

Varun, who is seen playing a rookie police officer named Junaid Ansari, took to Twitter on Saturday where he showed disagreement on the "wrong decision" of banning the film.

"Really upset that 'Dishoom' is banned in Pakistan. I don't think the film eventually shows any country in a bad light. It's a wrong decision," Varun tweeted.

"Dishoom", which released on Friday, revolves around India's top batsman, who goes missing in the Middle East and two police officials from either side of the Arabian Sea team up for a 36-hour manhunt.

The film also stars John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez.
