Actress Upasana Singh, known for playing Pinky Bua in "Comedy Nights with Kapil", will soon be seen playing a cunning mother-in-law.
Upasana, who has also been a part of movies including "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" and "Golmaal Returns", is set to portray a "saas" in forthcoming show "Uff Yeh Nadaniyaan" that begins Aug 4.
"Humour and Comedy as a genre has always interested me greatly and is mainly the reason why I am continuously looking at exploring new facets in this area," the actress said in a statement.
"My character in the show is of great relevance as my fans will see me playing a mother-in-law for the first time on screen. The pleasant plot and a meaty role is what attracted me to this series...,” she added.
The show will air on Big Magic.
