Twitter Can’t Get Over Deepika, Ranveer’s Royal Look

Darpan News Desk IANS, 29 Nov, 2018 01:37 PM

The newlyweds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were all smiles at their wedding reception, while meeting and greeting over 1,000 guests in Mumbai on Wednesday.

The reception was held at the Grand Hyatt and was organised by Ranveer’s sister, Ritika Bhavnani.

The colour co-ordinated couple were talk of the town and Twitter.

Deepika and Ranveer wore subtle colours and twinned in ivory and gold ‘Chikankari’ outfits.

The couple managed to look as royal as they could for the world.

But their long ‘Chikankari’ outfits managed to make their fans on Twitter share a laugh.

A tweet said, “..Italy wala tent saath hi le aaye” commenting on Deepika’s lengha from the reception.

Replying to this, another Tweet popped up, ‘’Italy? I thought I have seen these hanging in palika bazaar shops..” Ranveer maybe the only actor to pull off a ‘Bandgala’ so well but even he wasn’t left behind when it came to poking fun.

A tweet said, “It's like #bitcoin mining... depika and ranveer periodically releasing their marriage pictures. With this speed in 9 months all album Will be finished. And good news will be delivered.”

Another tweet made us laugh, “Ranveer wala lehnga Deepika ne pehna hai aur Deepika ka lehnga Ranveer ne hath me liya hai”

Instead of opting for Sabyasachi this time, Deepika wore Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla's designs and her husband opted for Rohit Bal's creations.

On December 1 they will have their third reception which is for their friends in the Industry. The twist with this event is that it has a theme. The couple has asked the guests to wear Black Tie.

Ranveer and Deepika left on November 3 for Italy and got married at the Villa del Balbianello with two ceremonies—a Konkani-style wedding on November 14 and a traditional Anand Karaj on November 15.
