TV has been close to my heart: Anupam Kher

Darpan News Desk Darpan, 22 May, 2014 02:26 PM
  • TV has been close to my heart: Anupam Kher
Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who is making his TV production debut with “The Anupam Kher Show...Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai”, says sharing celebrities' journey of struggle and self-motivation through the show will be the "perfect onset" towards his new journey.

“...Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai” will be aired on channel Colors and will have Anupam as its host.

The show will highlight inspirational stories of popular Bollywood celebrities, who will speak about their life's challenges and testing times.

“Television is a medium that has been close to my heart and developing and hosting this show, on Colors, is like a homecoming of sorts,” the actor, who has earlier anchored shows like "Say Na Something To Anupam Uncle" and "Sawaal Dus Crore Ka", said in a statement.

“Moreover, the show is my first foray into television production and it’s my belief that sharing stories of struggles, self-motivation and success of achievers from different walks of life will be the perfect onset of my journey into this unexplored territory,” he added.

The show's shoot will commence May-end.

Colors' CEO Raj Nayak is confident that the show will strike the right chord with viewers.

“While people know Anupam Kher the star, there’s much more to him as a human being. His own story is extremely inspirational and now he’s going to help others like him talk to our viewers about their life experiences.

"We are sure that with a host like Anupam on board, this show will make them laugh, cry, and be inspired at the same time," Nayak said.
