Trailer: Akshay Kumar Prepares His Fans For Untold Story Of ‘KESARI’

    The film ‘Kesari’—which is based on the Battle of Saragarhi where 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in 1897—starring actor Akshay Kumar is all set to release its trailer on February 21, 2019.

     

    Akshay shared the news on Twitter.

     

    He wrote: “The untold story of the bravest battle ever fought begins to unravel TOMORROW! #KesariTrailerTomorrow #Kesari@ParineetiChopra @SinghAnurag79 @karanjohar @apoorvamehta18 @SunirKheterpal @DharmaMovies #CapeOfGoodFilms @iAmAzure @ZeeStudios_”.

     
     
     
     

    “The bravest battle ever fought,” Akshay had earlier described the film’s subject.

     

    ‘Kesari’ is produced by filmmaker Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

     
     

     
     

    Makers had released the teaser of the film earlier this month.

     

    In the teaser, Afghani soldiers are going to fight Sikh warriors who are ready to face one of the toughest stand-alone battles the world has ever seen.

     

    Akshay will play the role of a military commander of 21 Sikh soldiers named Havildar Ishar Singh

     
     
     
     

    ‘Kesari' is directed by popular Punjabi director Anurag Singh.

     

    The film is scheduled to release on March 21.
