Total Dhamaal': Sonakshi Sinha Recreates Helen’s Iconic Song ‘Mungda’

IANS, 05 Feb, 2019 09:59 PM

‘Total Dhamaal’ is the third instalment of an adventure comedy film directed and co-produced by Indra Kumar. Recently, the makers of the film released its second song featuring bollywood actress, Sonakshi Sinha.

The 2:10 minutes song titled, ‘Mungda’ is a recreated version of Usha Mangeshkar's hit 70's song from the movie, ‘Inkaar’.

‘Mungd’ was realised on social media.

Sonakshi, dressed in a glittery golden dress, dances to Gourov and Roshin’s music. Jyotica Tangri, Shaan and Subhro Ganguly have lent their voices to the new version with Kunwar Juneja writing the lyrics.

Thanks to Bollywood’s love of remixing old songs; Helen’s iconic Lavani number is now a part of ‘Total Dhamaal’.

Last month, the trailer was released online, which left everyone in splits.

The movie stars: Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead roles.

It is slated to hit the theatres on February 22.
