Technology killed romance: Karan Johar

Darpan News Desk IANS, 03 Jan, 2015 03:17 PM
  • Technology killed romance: Karan Johar
Filmmaker Karan Johar, who has helmed some of Bollywood's most romantic films since making his directorial debut with "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" in 1998, says that the increased use of technology in daily lives is taking romance away from people.

"Technology definitely killed romance....how can Facetime and Skype ever replace waiting and longing for your loved one," Karan tweeted Saturday.

Karan's movies are all about love and loved ones. From "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" to "My Name Is Khan" and "Student of the Year" -- love has been a recurring theme in all his directorials.
