Taylor Swift Visits Sick Children In Hospital

Darpan News Desk IANS, 13 Jul, 2016 12:16 PM
  • Taylor Swift Visits Sick Children In Hospital
Singer Taylor Swift took a break from a trip with boyfriend Tom Hiddleston in Australia to visit sick patients at a local children’s hospital.

The 26-year-old singer paid a visit to Lady Cliento Children's Hospital in South Brisbane on Monday and took photographs with some of the patients, reports hollywoodlife.com.

The visit, which was co-ordinated by the Straight Children’s Foundation -- a non-profit organisation aimed at supporting children through sickness -- allowed the “Blank space” singer to mingle with the patients and take a couple of selfies.

“Thank you Taylor Swift for dropping by the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital this afternoon to give our patients and families a special surprise they’ll never forget,” the hospital’s Facebook page wrote.

“They will never ‘shake off’ the memories you made tonight,” the post read further.

Swift also made "quite the impression" with some of the patients she got to know during her visit.

“Thank you, Sam, for sharing this great pic of you and Taylor Swift with us. We hear you made quite the impression,” the hospital captioned an image of one patient posing with Swift.
