  • 'Tanu Weds Manu' Sequel Poster Out On Kangana's Birthday
As a special gesture to Kangana Ranaut, the leading lady of the film “Tanu Weds Manu Returns”, director Anand L. Rai has decided to release the film's first poster here on her birthday Monday.

"Tanu Weds Manu”, which released in 2011, was a story about how two people fall in love with a Punjabi wedding in the background. Hence, the poster of the film's sequel will also be released with merrymaking and the revelry of a marriage.

Rai believes it will be a perfect gift to Kangana. The poster will be launched in the presence of the sequel's cast in Delhi at a venue, decorated in a way as grand as a wedding, read a statement.

The sequel, which also stars R, Madhavan, will start from the point where the first part ended. Shot in Haryana, the film is slated to hit theatres in May.

Meanwhile, Kangana will turn 28 this year. Touted as Bollywood's "Queen", the Himachal girl has carved a niche for herself in the Hindi film industry with powerful performances in films like "Gangster - A Love Story", "Woh Lamhe" and "Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai".

She even won the best supporting actress National Film award for her portrayal of a doomed ramp model in "Fashion".
