'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' Writer Wants SRK For His Script

Darpan News Desk IANS, 06 Apr, 2016 01:25 PM
  • 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' Writer Wants SRK For His Script
"Tanu Weds Manu Returns" writer Himanshu Sharma, who has bagged the National Film Award for the screenplay and dialogues in the Kangana Ranaut-starrer, is "praying" for superstar Shah Rukh Khan to come onboard for a script he is penning for Aanand L. Rai's next.

"I am writing something for Aanand sir and this script is based in India and then travels to US. I am praying Mr. Shah Rukh Khan comes on board, but that's for him and Aanand sir to decide," Sharma told IANS.

Rai has reportedly approached SRK with this script and is waiting for his nod.

Sharma also commented on the interpretation of his scripts by Rai.

"I am a different person and would make different stuff... I have my own understanding. I am working as a writer and he is the director. This medium belongs to a director... How a director interprets what is written is up to him," he added.
