Tabu Will Bring Whole New Energy To 'Fitoor': Abhishek Kapoor

Darpan News Desk IANS, 27 May, 2015 11:11 AM
Tabu, who has replaced veteran actress Rekha in "Fitoor", will bring a whole new energy to her part in the movie, director Abhishek Kapoor said on Wednesday.

"Tabu is a powerhouse of talent, having made her mark as a strong performer in this male-dominated industry of ours. Her wonderful performances in Indian and international shores are too many to be named. She is an actress who fearlessly goes against the tide and isn't afraid to break stereotypes," Abhishek Kapoor told IANS.

"I am confident that she will bring a whole new energy to her part in 'Fitoor'. I am honoured to have her in my film," he said.

Amrita Pandey from UTV said Tabu "has been a part of the UTV family since 'The Namesake', and most recently in 'Haider'".

"In both movies, her performance has been the emotional fulcrum of the narrative, and we are very happy to have a chance to work with her again in 'Fitoor'," she said.

"Fitoor" also stars Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif among others.
