Sunny Leone Urges People To Save Water

Darpan News Desk, 24 Jul, 2017 01:11 PM
Actress Sunny Leone, the brand ambassador of a mineral water company, says people should try to conserve water.

"As an individual, I always keep certain things on mind like the product that I am getting associated with should not harm anybody and as a user I should believe in that product," Sunny told IANS here.

"When it comes to this product, Jal, I did not have to think much as water is all we need," she added.

Sharing her fondest memories with water, she said: "I am a total water baby, you can say that. I love to swim… but yes, when it comes to drinking water, even my mother-in law keeps saying, ‘Are you drinking enough water these days?'"

According to Sunny, Jal is different from regular bottled water.

"We need minerals in our body and the way they process the water adding the needed minerals, makes all the difference," she said.

P.S. Chhatwal, the director of Torque Pharmaceuticals PVT Ltd, also said they take time to process the water in purification.

"That makes all the difference. As a company, we also believe in saving water. Therefore, I as an individual would like to request all the hotel owners that when you are serving water to your guest, make sure, you are not wasting them."

    Sunny also appreciates water conservation.

She said: "In India, so many people do not have the access to clean drinking water. There are places where people are living with very little water and therefore saving water is important.

"And honestly, you do not have to start a huge project for that. Just take small steps. Instead of taking 15 minutes in shower every day, take a five-minute shower. Be conscious while watering your plants. Use grey water while washing your cars," suggested Sunny.

The glowing actress, who refused to give out much details about her new phase in life, said: "My mother-in-law has come all the way to visit the very special gift of our life. There is so much happiness bubbling."
