Singer Mika Singh, who plays a coach on singing reality show “The Voice India”, feels his fellow coach Sunidhi Chauhan and other female singers in Bollywood are inspiring talented female singers from small towns to come forward to showcase their talent to the world.
The “Jumme ki raat” hitmaker is proud of the confidence and willingness of women, who don't feel hesitatent to sing on a national TV show.
Mika, along with other coaches Sunidhi, Himesh Reshammiya and Shaan are overwhelmed with the response that the TV show has received so far, especially from the girls.
“I am very proud of the fact that so many girls are willing to come out of their small towns and participate in such a huge event. The whole credit goes to Sunidhi Chauhan and other female musical prodigies of our country who serve as a role model for these youngsters,” Mika said in a statement.
The show is an Indian version of the internationally acclaimed reality entertainer “The Voice”.
